Paul Heywood-Smith presents: Palestine – A Sense of Urgency
The 6th war on Lebanon has come and gone, and the 40 year war on Palestine continues. The overwhelming attention given to the issue back in July and August by the world’s media has disappeared. It’s back to business as usual – advance the Wall, advance the settlements, expel the Palestinians. Can we afford to continue to allow this to happen?
Paul Heywood-Smith QC is a South Australian barrister and Chairperson of the Australian Friends of Palestine Association. Hear him explain the historical background to this defining conflict of our time, and why the non-resolution of the conflict is impacting on the daily lives of each of us.
