 | Ms Farhat TajFarhat Taj is presently a Research Fellow at Centre for Interdisciplinary Gender Research, University of Oslo (PhD research is part of the fellowship (PhD to be completed in January 2010). She has done MPhil in Gender and Development from the University of Bergen, Norway. She is a well-known Newspaper Columnist (The News, Pakistan). Her columns focus on Talibanzation in the North-West of Pakistan, her native region in the country. Farhat has also directed a documentary film titled as ‘Waziristan: a culture under attack’ (to be released in near future). She is a member of the Totalitarian Network, University of Oslo, which studies totalitarian ideas and regimes, including Talibanization.
