Sarwari is the administrative officer at the Centre for Her research interests include immigration and citizenship among Muslims in Australia. She was involved in the "Understanding Muslim Identities" Project and the Fulbright Symposium last year. She has been a member of CMSS since 2007. She has completed a double degree in Social Sciences and Commerce and is currently working on her Honors degree in Political Science.
