James Trevelyan

James Trevelyan has taught computing, drawing, communication and professional engineering skills, mechanics, mechatronics and control engineering in the School of Mechanical Engineering, UWA, since 1975. In the last two years he received two special commendations for his mechatronics units and an excellence in teaching award. His research interests include robotics, mechatronics and landmine clearance methods. Recently he started a new project looking at the implications of professional engineering skills differences between developing and industrialised countries. James received an Excellence in Teaching Award in 2002.
