History of the Bux Family

The CMSS is conducting research on the history of the Bux Family, one of the early settlers in Western Australia in the late 19th Century. The research has been funded through a grant from friends and descendants of Khwaja Mohamed Bux.

Pre-liminary findings of the research titled, Muslim Australian Contributions: Bux Family as a Case Study, was presented at the Northbridge History Studies Day Project on 24 May 2009.
